Zafferano Aragonese is born in Isola di Capo Rizzuto, in Calabria, where we carefully cultivate each flower, respecting its natural cycle. The harvesting and processing of the pistils are done entirely by hand, following traditional methods that preserve the quality of the product.

The pistils are separated and subjected to a delicate drying, which enhances the intensity of the color, the unique aroma and the distinctive properties of saffron. Each phase of the process is taken care of in the smallest details to guarantee a pure and authentic product.

Our History

A DREAM CULTIVATED WITH PASSION

We are Domenico and Antonio , two young cousins united by a dream: to grow high-quality saffron in our beloved Calabria.

We decided to undertake this journey with the desire to enhance our land and give new life to a precious product, made with traditional methods. Thanks to our determination and the support of our family, we have transformed an ambitious project into a concrete reality: Zafferano Aragonese .

We dedicate ourselves to our work every day with commitment and passion, guided by the desire to offer a saffron that represents the artisanal quality and identity of our land.

Our goal is to create an authentic product, which embodies the quality, passion and essence of Calabria.
